Privacy Policy

The short version

Your data stays on your device. Brick by Brick has no accounts, no sign-up, no tracking, no analytics, and no ads. We can't see your habits, your workouts, or your notes — and we don't want to.

What the app stores

Everything you enter — habits, ticks, tasks, workouts, notes, timer logs and settings — is stored locally on your own device in your browser's storage. It never leaves your device unless you turn on cloud backup.

Cloud backup (optional)

If you enable cloud backup, a copy of your app data is uploaded to our server (hosted at moneybren.com) and stored against a random sync code generated on your device. The code is the only key: we don't know which backup belongs to which person, and backups contain no names, emails, or identifiers. You can stop backing up at any time in the app. If you'd like a backup deleted from the server, email us your sync code and we'll remove it.

What we collect about you

Nothing. No personal information is collected, sold, or shared. The app makes no network requests except to load itself and, if enabled, to sync your backup to our own server. There are no third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or trackers.

Notifications

If you turn on the daily reminder, the notification is scheduled and shown entirely on your device. We never send push messages from a server.

Children

The app doesn't collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date at the top.
