The Problem With Most Survey Sites
Surveys are one of the easiest and oldest ways of making money online.
Market research firms will ask you to answer questions and will pay for your opinion and insights.
However, the big flaw with surveys is most don't pay well enough to make it worth your time.
Many survey sites pay $5 or less for a questionnaire that might take half an hour.
This is less than minimum wage.
You would be better off getting a job at Countdown.
However, the reason I still recommend surveys to Kiwis is it is still possible to earn $100 to $200 per survey if you know where to look.
Where To Find Surveys That Pay
As of today there is only one survey site in New Zealand that pays well for your time, but one site is all we need.
That site is Prime Research.
Here are some of the offers I've had in my email inbox from them:
As you can see, the incentives for these surveys are very reasonable.
While some of them might take 2 or 3 hours, at $120 that works out to $40 per hour.
This is almost double minimum wage.
It would be very worthwhile to give up Netflix for a night and spend it doing surveys instead.
How To Make Your First $100
When you sign up for Prime Research, they will start to send you emails any time a client is looking to get feedback from the market.
Normally I get 2-3 of these emails per week.
When you opt in to do a survey, Prime Research will screen you first.
The screening is very important. It will determine whether or not you "qualify" to do the survey.
Try and answer the screen survey as liberally as you can.
For example, if you know the survey is for juice, obviously they're looking for people that regularly buy juice.
I am not suggesting you lie, but try and give yourself the best chance of qualifying for the survey.
Other than that, there is really no secret to making your first $100.
Simply register on their site and answer as many opportunities as you can!
