2023 is almost in the bag.
November was uneventful, stocks took a little hit but crypto continues its bull run into the halving.
I added just over $1k in side hustle profits to the portfolio during the month, which I’m still holding in cash for now.

Decluttering
Found myself in holiday cleaning mode and started back on the decluttering train this month.
I sold a pair of headphones I haven’t used in a year and a bunch of old tools nobody has used in probably ten years.
Raised a couple hundred bucks which went straight into the public portfolio.
If you remember back to 2020, decluttering was how I started raising the initial capital for the portfolio, and we’ve since contributed about $3k from decluttering.
Decluttering is maybe the safest and easiest side hustle to start generating some cash, since there is literally zero risk (you’re just selling old stuff you already own) and you can do it from home in your spare time with no special skills.
If you haven’t started decluttering and turning your old stuff into assets, you need to start!

Niche sites
Spent no time on my sites this month.
They still brought in about $1k in cash to the portfolio, which is always nice!
As for now I don’t really have time (or interest) to be improving these sites, so it seems they’ll just be sitting there until I decide what to do with them next year.

Dividends
Not much in the way of dividends this month:
But – this is the true passive income that we are trying to build.

Crypto saves the day
Last month, I talked about how crypto had finally started it’s pre-halving run, which I’ve been predicting here on the blog regularly for the last two years.
Stocks took a small beating during November, so it was nice that Bitcoin moved in the opposite direction, giving the portfolio a nice needed bump.
I still think we have a lot of room to run – this is just getting started!
Right now, crypto is about 14% of the public portfolio after the recent rally, which is getting a little higher that I would like, but it’s a good problem to have.
I think it’s premature to start re-allocating, so for now I’m just letting this ride.
